FLY-R: using AI to land unmanned aircraft
In 2018, BeTomorrow teams took on an ambitious challenge: landing unmanned aircraft for the Fly-R company. To achieve this mission, we integrated bespoke artificial intelligence embedded in an NVIDIA Jetson board.
Lydec: image recognition system for streetlight management
In collaboration with Lydec (Lyonnaise des Eaux de Casablanca), we took part in the development of an innovative solution for the city of Casablanca, enabling real-time detection and monitoring of the correct operation of street lighting using automated drone overflights.
VINCI: AI simplifies maintenance operations
The BeTomorrow teams have developed an application dedicated to the automatic reading of utility pole identification plates, designed to facilitate the work of VINCI network maintenance operators.
Noctia: diagnosing sleep apnea using artificial intelligence
Our experts have designed an innovative solution in the medical field, based on the analysis of biomarkers linked to sleep apnea. The user's face is scanned in 3D before being analyzed by our customized neural network.
Captain Kelly: voice assistant to teach English in elementary school
Captain Kelly, the voice assistant for foreign language learning in elementary school, is a project that BeTomorrow has developed alongside Belin Éducation. The solution has been tested in around a hundred schools in France and overseas.

How do you choose the right language models?
There are many language models on the market, such as GPT, Mistral, Claude or Gemini. It's important to be aware of their strengths in order to make informed technical choices. We prefer powerful models when the complexity of the analysis is central, while we prefer models with a large context window for summarizing large quantities of text. For simple, repetitive tasks, a compact model will be sufficient and much less expensive. Most GenAI solutions are based on combinations of models chosen to deliver the best results.
